Tax Preparation for Seniors, Low Income and Disabled
AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP volunteers will assist elderly and low income persons with tax filing. Many in the target population feel unprepared to complete the forms themselves, causing them anxiety.. Volunteers will fill out federal, state and Missouri Property Tax returns. Volunteers will attend a four day training with an AARP Tax representative before the tax clinic begins in February. The tax clinic is every Tuesday and Thursday from 8 am-11am until the middle of April.
